Gino’s Fruit and Veg is based in Jugiong and owned and operated by Owen & James Duffell.

James buys fresh fruit, vegetables, and herbs directly from the market – picking each box himself to ensure the best quality he can. He travels to Sydney Markets every morning so our produce is as fresh as possible. James and Owen bought the family-owned and operated Gino’s Fruit and Veg from Jenny & Gino in 2023 to carry their Duffell family legacy and love of fresh fruit and veg directly from the farm. The Duffells are fifth-generation farmers from the Riverina in NSW after William Duffell, sincerely known as Soldier Boy, returned from the Great War and was given land to farm in the early 1900s.

Gino grew up and worked in his family-owned business in Elanora Heights in Sydney since he was 14. This is where he met Jenny, who had worked there since she was 18. Together, we have a passion for good food and delivering quality fresh produce from the best sources. Gino and Jenny began Gino’s Fruit & Veg and built a community passion for freshness and healthy options before focusing on their farming of cattle. Gino and Jenny still work closely with James and Owen to ensure quality and freshness to help the brothers learn the family trade.

The family-owned business continues to pass on a passion for healthy, farm-fresh produce of the best quality while supporting local businesses and farmers. James and Owen are committed to continuing the legacy of Gino and Jenny for the future of Gino’s Fruit and Veg so that Owen’s children, Alex, James, William, and Thomas, can continue in the future.
